Amelia Ray (she/her/y’all) is a non-fiction filmmaker and cameraperson hailing from Birmingham, AL.
A descendant of dairy farmers and Appalachian musicians, she is interested in the creative and political liberation of the South.
She holds a BFA in Film/Television with a minor in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work has been supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, The Warhol Foundation, and The Southern Documentary Fund and featured by The Video Consortium, Beyond the Short, Boooooom, and C41 Magazine.
